In 1999, Kentucky Equine Research set up a second office in Victoria, Australia, to serve that continent and Asia.
The corporate North American office is the home to the company’s research facilities. Nutrition and exercise physiology trials are conducted year-round at the 150-acre farm. Kentucky Equine Research bases much of its consultation services and product development on the results of these trials.
First and foremost, Kentucky Equine Research serves as a consultant to feed manufacturers. Kentucky Equine Research nutritionists work with mill owners and managers on six continents to formulate top-quality feeds that complement typical local forages. These feeds contain KER micronutrient premixes to ensure that, when fed with appropriate forage and according to label directions, they will provide a diet balanced to Kentucky Equine Research’s specifications.
